Seaview beach to remain open for New Year revellers

In a welcome news for people of Karachi, all roads leading to the Seaview beach will remain open on New Year's Eve.

The SSP South stated that strict action will be taken against revellers who found involved in aerial firing and performing stunts such as wheelies.

Over 2,000 police personnel will be deployed on Seaview roads to maintain law and order. Those caught engaging in aerial firing will face attempted murder charges, said the police.

The SSP emphasised that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure citizens’ security, and anyone attempting to disturb public peace and safety will face strict action.
