Sibi sizzles at 50°C as heatwave grips majority of Pakistan cities

A large portion of the country is currently in the grip of an intense heatwave, with scorching temperatures affecting daily life.
Sibi recorded the highest temperature in the country at 50°C, making it the hottest city. In Turbat, the mercury reached 45°C, although the feels-like temperature soared to 49°C.
In other major cities:
Hyderabad, Lahore, Faisalabad, and Peshawar recorded 42°C, but the heat was felt as high as 47°C.
Islamabad and Rawalpindi experienced 45°C, with a real-feel of 48°C.
In Karachi, the temperature stood at 34°C, though it felt closer to 38°C.
