In a major announcement for job seekers, the Sindh government has approved new age relaxations for government jobs.
The Services, General Administration and Coordination Department put out an official notice—signed by Section Officer-II Nadeem Ahmed—after the Sindh Cabinet signed off on the change.
If you’re applying for jobs through IBA Sukkur, the upper age limit is now 33 instead of 28. That’s five extra years. For positions filled by the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC), the limit has gone up to 30, adding two more years thanks to Supreme Court orders.
Officials say this decision helps people who couldn’t apply before because of the province’s long hiring ban.
Now that the ban’s lifted and the age relaxations are back, lots of hopeful candidates are feeling optimistic about getting into public service.
The step will yield results in addressing the province's unemployment issue.
