Women voters at NA-20 of Swabi were banned by locals from exercising their right to vote.

At a time when media reports are showing a good turnout of women, Swabi’s Adeena village has stopped their women from casting their vote.

According to the report, the polling staff was present in the women's booths of the said constituency of the National Assembly but not a single woman reached there.

Sources said around 6,000 women of Adeena village were eligible to vote but the locals and elders did not allow them to participate in the election of the country's rural area.

Additionally, NA-59 of Punjab has also witnessed the lowest turnout at some polling stations in Talagang and Potohar districts.

According to reports, only a few women out of 3,101 exercised their right to vote in NA-59.
