Following the heat-scorching month, several parts of Sindh have gotten little relief for a week.
However, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) chief Sardar Sarfaraz predicted more days of hot weather in several parts of Sindh, including Karachi.
He said that the temperature in the next three days is likely to go up to 37 degrees Celsius, and the humidity level will remain high at over 72 percent.
“The upper and coastal areas of Sindh are likely to experience hot weather in daytime, while south and central parts of the province are expected dusty winds in the afternoon,” he added.
During the period, some parts of Sindh, including Hyderabad, Sukkur, Thatta, Dadu, Mithi, Nawabshah, and surrounding districts are anticipated hot weather with 42-47 degrees Celsius temperature and 56-75 percent humidity in the air.
Previously, the met authority had predicted relief from the weather from June 19, after the commencement of monsoon season.
Sardar Sarfaraz predicted that the temperature across several parts of the country would remain between 35-36 degrees Celcius, while Karachi was likely to experience a normal temperature with cloudy weather.
