Karachi experienced a series of mild earthquakes within a span of 24 hours, with six tremors reported between June 1 and June 2, according to official data.
The recorded timings and magnitudes are as follows:

- June 2 – 10:32 am
- June 2 – 11:04 am
The tremors ranged in magnitude from 3.2 to 3.6, with shallow depths, indicating seismic activity near the surface.
Chief Meteorologist Amir Haider confirmed that four of the earthquakes since yesterday were felt in areas including Malir, Quaidabad, and the surrounding regions.

Another tremor struck at 1:06 am on June 2, with a magnitude of 3.2 and a depth of 12 kilometers. This tremor’s epicenter was identified near Gadap Town.
Haider explained that these tremors are originating from the Landhi fault zone, one of Karachi’s two active fault lines.
He noted that although these quakes are minor, activity on this fault line could continue for several days.
