A renowned YouTuber Aun Ali Khosa was taken away by unidentified men from his residence in Lahore on Thursday, according to his family.

The development was shared by the missing person's brother Ali Sher Khosa on microblogging site X.

According to a family member, some unknown armed men in plain clothes arrived at his flat to pick Khosa up.

Brother said that the incident took place in the early hours of Thursday.

"AOA everyone, today in the middle of the night my Brother @aun_khosa has been taken into custody by some unknown armed men from his flat in Lahore," he wrote in a post.

Sher urged the missing person's fans and followers to pray for the recovery of the YouTuber.

"Do spread the word as it will mean a lot to our Family," he added.

The abduction came just a few days after Khosa released a parody song Bill Bill Pakistan.

In the song, Khosa criticised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif-led government for burdening the masses with exorbitant power bills and taxes.
