Google expands creative AI tools in Pakistan

Google has officially expanded access to its cutting-edge video generation model, Veo 3, now available to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in more than 150 countries, including Pakistan.

With this innovative feature, users can now convert their photos into vivid, 8-second video clips complete with sound, using Veo 3’s advanced photo-to-video technology introduced earlier this year.

In just seven weeks since launch, users worldwide have generated over 40 million videos, showcasing everything from modern fairy tales to ASMR experiments — highlighting the tool’s creative potential.

For Pakistan’s growing community of content creators, this offers an exciting new way to tell stories and animate personal memories.

To create a video, users simply select ‘Videos’ from the tool menu, upload a photo, and describe the scene and any desired audio. Gemini, Google’s AI assistant, then brings the image to life as a dynamic, downloadable video.

This functionality is also integrated into Flow, Google’s AI-powered filmmaking platform. Flow now allows users to add speech, background music, and sound effects to clips — although audio generation remains experimental, and results may vary.

Additionally, the Frames to Video feature available on Veo 3 Fast enables even quicker animation from personal images, maximizing the value of user credits.

With the rollout of Flow and Google AI Ultra in over 140 countries, global creators now have broader access to these powerful storytelling tools.
