On July 15, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore approved a 10-day physical remand of Khan in connection with the violent protests of May 9, 2023.

The bodies were found in the jurisdictions of A Section Police Station, Market Police Station, Hali Road Police Station, SITE Police Station, and Fort Police Station.

The couple belongs to Afghanistan and got married on Sunday, police said.

“Azm-e-Istehkam is not a military operation. Why is Azm-e-Istehkam being made controversial? There’s a strong lobby which wants the objectives of Azm-e-Istehkam not to be fulfilled. It is being politicised.”

Initial reports indicate that Khan was detained at Burj Dubai police station during his stay in the UAE, where he had traveled to perform at various musical events.

Court extended physical remand until July 29

The brutal incident occurred in the area under the jurisdiction of Seet Pur police station, stemming from an ongoing land dispute.

Earlier, Qamar was abducted and robbed after being honey-trapped by a woman.

The victim's family was in Thatta and only discovered the theft upon their return two days later.

He revealed that the woman had been "trying to convince him to meet her for the past 15 days."
