Renowned singer Hadiqa Kiani urged the public not to discuss the personal and family matters of late actress Humaira Asghar, stressing that the actress herself never shared her private life publicly and that people should respect her privacy.

Taking to Instagram, Hadiqa Kiani expressed concern that Humaira Asghar's family is being targeted and scrutinised online.

She said such behaviour may cause further distress, even beyond this life, considering the actress passed away under tragic circumstances but chose to live with dignity without burdening others.

“In her lifetime, she chose not to share her family matters with the public so why now, after her death, is her family being brutally questioned and exposed.”

The singer strongly condemned those exploiting the late actress’s content, saying, “Shame on those who claim concern but exploit her videos by circulating her videos, reels and even her lifeless image,” she said.

Kiani also criticised media outlets for using Humaira Asghar’s death to drive traffic and engagement, and stressed that her family should be allowed to grieve in peace.

“Respect her privacy, honor her soul, and pray for strength and peace for her grieving family,” she added.

She concluded her message by praying for Humaira Asghar’s soul to be granted eternal peace and for patience for her family during this difficult time.

Humaira Asghar’s body, believed to be 8 to 10 months old, was discovered in her flat in Karachi. The discovery was made when the landlord arrived with police to forcibly vacate the premises over unpaid rent.

The mysterious circumstances of her death sent shockwaves across the country, but the public was further shocked by the family's initial response, as they initially disowned her body.

However, following widespread public backlash, the family eventually travelled to Karachi to claim her remains. They denied disowning her, stating that they were already under emotional strain due to the recent death of another close family member.
