Actress Tuba Anwar revealed in a recent interview that a group of female artists from the showbiz industry created a WhatsApp group aimed at supporting one another in dealing with mental stress, loneliness, and emotional challenges.
According to Tuba, this initiative was taken in the wake of the tragic death of actress Humaira Asghar Ali, who was reportedly suffering from severe isolation and a lack of social support.
She explained that many actresses working in the entertainment industry are based in cities where their families don’t live, making loneliness a major struggle.
Several of her own friends, the Baby Baji actress noted, have come to Karachi from other Lahore and Islamabad and are working far away from their families.
