Armed robbers deprive citizen of cash, valuables in Malir

KARACHI: CCTV footage came to light showing robbers looting a motorcyclist after chasing him in Karachi's Malir, raising serious concerns over the law and order situation of the port city. 

As per CCTV footage, two robbers on bike chased a man and deprived him of the valuables. The incident was caught on the camera in Malir's "Tanki Wali Gali".

The robbers after looting valuables fled the scene easily.

The video also shows people coming to help the victim after snatching. 

Street crimes are on the rise in the port city. In recent incident, a man was deprived of his cash at gunpoint inside bank's ATM in Karachi's Rashid Minhas Road.

In the video, two robbers, whose faces were visible, were seen entering ATM booth after a man was coming out of it.

After taking cash from the man who is reportedly identified as Bilal, the robbers fled safely.

Back in December, last year, police busted a gang that admitted to a two-decade-long spree of robbing unsuspecting individuals exiting banks and automated teller machines (ATMs).
