Two men shave off sister-in-law's head for not transferring ownership of one kanal land

In a tragic incident of gender-based violence, brothers-in-law shaved off their sister-in-law's head for not transferring the ownership of one kanal of land in Lodhran.

The local police arrested the woman’s husband, and her two brothers-in-law and registered a case on the complaint filed by the victim's mother.

According to the victim's mother, her son-in-law transferred one kanal of land to her daughter at the time of their marriage.  

The mother informed the local police that her daughter had not had children in the past ten years of marriage.

The woman reported that her son-in-law and his brothers demanded that her daughter transfer the land back to their name since she was not able to conceive. 

They then shaved off her daughter's head as a punishment after she refused to transfer the land, the mother added.

However, the police are investigation the matter.
