In a heart-touching act, a group of people rescued a camel stuck in mud in Bahawalpur.
The video on social media shows a group of people rescuing a poor camel stuck in mud in Qila Darawar desert, Bahawalpur Punjab.
The acts of the people are being widely hailed by social media users especially when the country has recently witnessed animal cruelty in Sindh and Punjab.
On June 15, a feudal lord in Sanghar, along with six employees, tortured a camel and severed its leg with a sharp tool.
The 8-month-old camel calf was shifted to Karachi from Sanghar for treatment at CDRS Benji, a local non-governmental organisation (NGO).
Just days later, on June 29, a female camel was found dead in Umerkot, Sindh, with all four limbs amputated.
