A drug dealer was arrested near a prominent university in Islamabad, confessing to selling narcotics to students.

The arrest is part of an ongoing crackdown by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) to combat drug distribution in educational institutions.

The ANF, during a search operation near the university's main gate, discovered 1.2 kilograms of hashish and 151 grams of other drugs hidden in the seats of the suspect's vehicle. Upon interrogation, the suspect admitted to specifically targeting students for his drug sales.

Charges have been filed against the suspect under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and further investigations are underway to uncover the full extent of the operation.

An ANF spokesperson emphasized the rising concern of drug proliferation in educational settings, calling for continued vigilance and firm action to protect students from the dangers of drug abuse.

The ANF remains dedicated to its mission of creating drug-free environments in educational institutions, ensuring that the youth are safeguarded from the destructive impact of substance abuse on their future.
