DSP arrested for murder of wife, daughter after faking kidnapping

The case surrounding the alleged kidnapping of DSP Usman Haider’s wife and daughter has taken a shocking turn, with police revealing that the officer himself was responsible for their murder.

According to police sources, DSP Usman Haider has been arrested after investigators uncovered that he had shot and killed his wife and daughter and then lodged a false FIR at Burki Police Station, claiming they had been kidnapped.

Police say the accused has confessed to the crime.

The body of his daughter was recovered from Kahna, while his wife’s body was found in Sheikhupura.

Investigators stated that the murders were the result of a domestic dispute. It was further revealed that DSP Usman Haider had contracted two marriages, and tensions reportedly escalated after his second marriage.

The deceased woman was his first wife.
