KARACHI: The public has been warned against a fraudulent website allegedly claiming to provide online visa application and verification services for Kyrgyzstan.
The website should not be used for visa applications, visa verification, payments or the submission of personal information, as applicants could risk exposing sensitive data to unauthorized individuals.
Members of the public have been advised to use only the official Kyrgyzstan visa portal or the verified website of the relevant Kyrgyz diplomatic mission for visa applications and related services.
Travelers and visa applicants should remain particularly cautious when accessing websites that request personal or financial information and should verify the authenticity of the platform before proceeding with any application or payment.
People have also been advised never to enter sensitive information, including passport numbers, national identity card details, bank account information or credit and debit card details, on unverified websites.
Any suspicious website or link should be reported to the relevant authorities, while users are urged not to share potentially fraudulent links with others.
The warning comes amid growing concerns over online scams targeting people seeking official government and visa-related services.
Applicants are encouraged to independently verify visa information through official government or diplomatic channels before submitting documents, providing personal information or making any payment.
