In a heartbreaking incident in Sindh's Naushahro Feroze district, a father allegedly buried his newborn baby alive due to financial constraints preventing her medical treatment, as reported by the police.
The incident came to light through social media, prompting authorities to order the exhumation of the grave following court directives.
According to the police, the tragic event unfolded in Tharu Shah village Photorajpir. The accused, Machar Rajpur, has been arrested and confessed to the crime. Rajpur explained that he already had two children and that his newborn, his third child, had been ill since birth, suffering from a serious blood deficiency. Lacking the necessary funds for medical care, he made the grievous decision to bury the infant alive.
Following his arrest, the police accompanied Rajpur to the gravesite where he identified the location of the baby's grave.
