Female motorcyclist killed after being hit by trailer in Karachi

A woman motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a trailer in Karachi's Landhi area on Friday, police said.

According to police officials, the road accident took place near Landhi Hospital Chowrangi. The deceased was identified as 26-year-old Bushra. Her body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for legal formalities.

The police said that Bushra was riding the motorcycle herself when a 10-wheeler trailer struck her, causing fatal injuries. The trailer driver fled the scene immediately after the accident.

The police have taken the trailer into custody and launched a search to arrest the absconding driver. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
