Fire at Karachi’s Saddar mobile market brought under control

Fire authorities have brought a blaze under control at the Saddar Mobile Market in Karachi.
According to officials, the fire broke out at Al-Najeebi Market, prompting the deployment of several fire brigade vehicles to contain the flames.
Rescue teams confirmed that all individuals inside the building were evacuated safely. Rescue 1122 said a snorcal team had been called in to assist people trapped in the building.
The fire reportedly started on the seventh floor of the building, which is used as a parking area. It originated in one vehicle and spread to two others parked nearby.
Rescue officials said one person lost consciousness due to smoke inhalation and was being transported to hospital.
Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab instructed authorities to ensure the safety of citizens and property and to expedite the rescue operation.
