Fire erupts after explosion at illegal petrol pump in Karachi’s Shah Faisal Colony

A massive fire erupted in Karachi’s Shah Faisal Colony Number Three after an explosion at an  illegal petrol pump.

The inferno quickly spread to neighboring shops, engulfing the area and trapping people inside a nearby residential building. Local authorities rushed to the scene to contain the fire, which had grown rapidly due to the highly flammable materials in the affected shops.

Rescue teams were summoned and are working to evacuate residents from the building. Eyewitnesses reported hearing loud explosion before seeing thick plumes of smoke rise from the area. Panic spread among locals as the fire began to spread uncontrollably, with nearby businesses and homes at risk.
