Four children die of suffocation after getting trapped inside car in Mianwali

Four children, including three girls and one boy, died after suffocating inside a car in Mianwali, police said.

According to police, the tragic incident occurred last evening in the Khaglanwala area of Mianwali.

Police said the children entered the car while playing, but the vehicle’s doors became locked, leaving them trapped inside. They later died due to suffocation.

The bodies of the children have been handed over to their families, while police are investigating other aspects of the incident, officials added.

Earlier, three women lost their lives after a gas leak inside an apartment in Rawalpindi.

According to the police, the women died from suffocation after gas leaked from an instant geyser.

Rescue 1122 confirmed the deaths and said another woman found unconscious at the location was shifted to a hospital, where she is receiving treatment. The ages of the deceased women were reported as 45, 60 and 70 years, while the woman taken to hospital is 23 years old.
