Heartless man throws “unwanted” daughter into canal in Gujrat

A heartless man in Gujrat threw his three-month-old daughter into a canal after becoming enraged with his wife for not giving birth to a son. 

The incident occurred in Chak Fateh Shah on Thursday after which Rescue teams launched a search in the canal to retrieve the body of the deceased minor.

According to police, the culprit, identified as Ali Ahmed Raza Sabri, had been quarreling with his wife over the birth of their daughter for three months.

On Thursday, the suspect had an argument with his wife again after which he forcibly took the baby girl from her mother and threw her into a nearby canal.

Police and rescue teams arrived at the scene and divers immediately initiated a search for the infant.

Sabri was arrested after Gujrat police filed a First Information Report (FIR) against the accused. 

In a similar incident in Chakwal, a cruel father strangled his 8-month-old infant daughter to death in a fit of rage while she was crying.

The heart-wrenching incident emerged on Thursday. According to the law enforcer, the victim girl was killed by her father in the Bilalabad area of ​​Talagang in Chakwal.

An FIR was registered against the accused after the incident. 

The complaint revealed that the girl started crying while being brought from the yard to the room during the rain. Enraged by this, the accused strangled her, resulting in her death.

The accused fled after killing the girl and police are conducting raids to arrest him.
