Karachi police arrest robber posing as online bikerider

KARACHI: In a swift operation, Karachi's New Town Police arrested a key suspect involved in a series of robbery incidents by posing himself as an online bikerider. 

According to police, the suspect, identified as Amjad Khan, is part of a gang that used an online bike service as a guise to loot citizens in Karachi.

Police wanted the arrested outlaw along with his gang in several robbery cases.

The New Town Police had been investigating the incidents and finally managed to apprehend the key suspect.

Further investigation is underway from the arrested accused to bust the gang. 

Earlier, the Sindh Police’s Special Investigation Unit (SIU) conducted an operation and apprehended the four-member gang that had been robbing citizens by pretending to be online bike service riders.

The arrested individuals were identified as Waqas, Kamran, Imran, and Muhammad Rehman. Four pistols, two motorcycles, and printed helmets from the online bike service were recovered from the possession of the culprits.
