Karachi sets prices for food items during Ramadan

KARACHI: The Commissioner of Karachi, Syed Hasan Naqvi, has fixed prices for food products for the month of Ramadan.

As per the notification released by the Commissioner of Karachi, in Ramadan, Karachi will have potato and minced meat samosas for 40 PKR, and 1 kg of pakoras for 640 PKR.

As per the notification, 100 grams of chapati will be priced at 14 PKR, and 180 grams of tandoori naan will be available for 27 PKR.

The price of bone-in veal meat has been fixed at 1300 PKR per kg, and boneless meat will be available for 1600 PKR per kg.

The Commissioner of Karachi also said that 13 markets in DC Karachi will be declared model bazaars to ensure that the products are available at fixed prices.
