Lahore girls beat superstore employee over harassment allegations

A group of three girls brutally tortured an employee of a superstore in Lahore over allegations of harassment, Closed-circuit television footage showed.

According to the person who made the video and is believed to be the owner of the superstore, the girls are the daughters of an influential lawyer in the provincial capital.

In the video, an employee could be seen standing at a cash counter, while one of the girls started arguing with him.

The girls, in the CCTV footage, could also be seen assaulting the boy with punches and slaps.

As per the video maker, the suspects also lodged a case against the victim under the charges of harassment.

On the other hand, the Lahore police said that the incident took place on July 7 at a supermart in the city.

The provincial law enforcers also confirmed that a case was registered against the victim, however, the First Information Report (FIR) was quashed after video evidence proved him innocent.

The police said that no formal request to file a case against the suspects was received from the victim.
