Man kills brother for using his cellphone in Gujranwala

Gujranwala: In a tragic incident, a man killed his younger brother over using his mobile phone without permission in Gujranwala, Punjab.

The incident occurred in the Ladhywala Warraich area, where 35-year-old Umar, who did not own a mobile phone, borrowed his elder brother Habibullah's phone and went out.

Upon returning home, Habibullah, enraged by Umar's actions, began beating him with sticks. Unfortunately, a severe blow to the head resulted in Umar's immediate death.

According to the police, both brothers, aged 35 and 40, were laborers. The heartbreaking incident has shocked the local community.

The police collected evidence from the scene and transferred the body to the hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Law enforcement officials have assured that the suspect, who fled the scene after the crime, will be apprehended soon. The investigation is ongoing, and efforts are being made to bring the perpetrator to justice.
