Man rapes his 14-year-old niece in Punjab: police

A 14-year-old girl was raped by her maternal uncle in Qabula police station limits, Arifwala.

According to police, the father of the victim girl said that his daughter was alone in the house when the accused entered and raped her.

Police station Qabula registered a case under the provisions of rape on the complaint of the father of the victim girl and arrested the accused.

Separately, police have arrested a man who allegedly raped his minor niece in B Colony area of Lodhran city.

According to Lodhran city police SHO Zafar Garwan, father of the 10-year-old girl in his complaint alleged that on June 12, his daughter was alone in the house.

He said the suspect, her maternal uncle, along with an unidentified man entered the house and allegedly raped the minor.

The SHO claimed that the suspect has been arrested, while the medico-legal examination report of the girl was awaited for further action. He added that that the DNA test would also be conducted to ascertain the crime.
