Man shot dead by security guard in Karachi's North Nazimabad

A man was shot dead by a security guard in Karachi’s North Nazimabad area, police said on Thursday.

The incident took place in Block C of North Nazimabad, where a security guard identified as Wakeel Ahmed allegedly opened fire, killing a man named Waleed.

According to police officials, the shooting occurred after a heated argument between the guard and the victim. Waleed had reportedly come to the area as a guest at a house located opposite the guard’s place of duty.

The police reached the scene and arrested the security guard, who was deployed at a nearby bungalow.

The body of the deceased was shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities. Further investigation into the incident is under way.
