Minor student raped by Madressah teacher in mosque in Punjab

A minor boy was allegedly raped by his seminary teacher in Depalpur city of Punjab, it emerged on Thursday.

According to police, the incident took place in a mosque located at Qila Sondha Singh village.

Police said Qari Ikram took the young victim to his room in a mosque to commit the heinous crime.

Upon receiving the information, Hujra Shah Muqim police took the suspect into custody.

A case was registered against the seminary teacher under Section 376 (punishment for rape) of the Pakistan Penal Code on the complaint of the victim's father.

Earlier on June 8, two minor boys were sexually assaulted by their Madressah teacher in Kot Addu, Punjab.
