Policeman shot dead in Karachi's Gulshan-e-Maymar

Unknown gunmen shot dead a policeman in Karachi's Gulshan-e-Maymar area on Wednesday.

According to the details, the cop was targeted while he was getting his motorcycle repaired.

While the policeman was getting his motorcycle puncture repaired, four assailants arrived in an Alto car and opened fire on him.

As the officer, already wounded, tried to run, he fell ahead; the attackers followed and fired additional shots.

One assailant picked up an SMG rifle and another took away the bulletproof vest before fleeing.

The terrorists escaped with the snatched SMG rifle. WIth this latest incident, the number of policemen killed in encounters and terrorists firing has jumped to 14.
