A rickshaw driver was beaten to death by the guard of a private organisation over a parking dispute in Karachi’s Nazimabad block L, according to police.
Police said the dispute began over the wrong parking of the Rickshaw, and a verbal fight turned into a scuffle, resulting in the rickshaw driver being killed on the spot.
The guard identified as Waleed, has been arrested by the police. “He [rickshaw driver] wrongly parked his rickshaw, I told him to park your rickshaw behind the vehicles, but he ignored,” said the apprehended guard.
During the physical altercation, the guard pushed the driver's chest, causing him to fall. This may have led to his death.
The matter is being investigated by the police, while the picture has not become clear so far.
