Nawaz Sharif directs PML-N to ignore Naqvi's statement about new provinces, claims Ansar Abbasi

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif has instructed party leaders to ignore a recent statement by Mohsin Naqvi, according to a report by The News Editor Investigations Ansar Abbasi.

According to the report, Nawaz Sharif described unity between the government and state institutions as an urgent necessity under the current circumstances.

He reportedly told party leaders that, given the country's economic, political, and security challenges, every effort should be made to avoid creating any impression of differences between the government of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

Sources said that senior PML-N leaders had conveyed their concerns to Nawaz Sharif regarding Mohsin Naqvi's statement about the "system."

In response, Nawaz Sharif reportedly advised party leaders to exercise restraint, saying that the national interest requires maintaining harmony among state institutions.

The development follows remarks by the interior minister, who said that Pakistan's existing governance system had "collapsed" and was no longer capable of addressing the country's challenges, and called for administrative reforms, including the creation of new administrative units.
