Robbers along with a female accomplice loot citizens in Karachi

In a shocking incident, a group of robbers, along with their female accomplice, looted two citizens in broad daylight in Karachi.

The incident, which was captured on a nearby CCTV camera, took place in North Karachi Sector 5a(4) area of the metropolis on September 25 (Wednesday).

The footage showed three bandits arriving at the scene on a motorcycle.

One of the male robbers disembarked and approached two pedestrians on the deserted street, snatching their mobile phones, cash, and other valuables.

After completing the heist, the trio fled the scene with ease.

According to sources, the inclusion of a female accomplice is a strategy aimed at avoiding suspicion during robberies.

The daring incident has raised concerns about Karachi's law and order situation, highlighting the need for increased vigilance. 

Earlier, the Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) released a report revealing a staggering 5,960 criminal incidents in Karachi during August.

The report noted that 5,951 incidents involved snatching and theft of cell phones, motorbikes, and other vehicles.
