The Sindh government has shifted the Sanghar camel, whoae leg was amputed by a landlord, to Karachi for treatment including artificial leg.

In a video shared on social media, the doctor treating the camel said the animal is comparatively in good condition and will receive treatment in Karachi.

Meanwhile, the police arrested five individuals on Saturday on charges related to cutting off a camel's leg in the Sanghar district.

This distressing incident occurred on Friday in the Mundh Jamrao area of Sanghar. The camel had wandered onto agricultural land, prompting its owner to react with physical violence. Along with his employees, the landlord first tortured the camel and then severed its leg with a sharp tool.

A video of the incident went viral on social media, eliciting widespread condemnation. 

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ijaz later confirmed that law enforcement had arrested five people in connection with the animal abuse, with two of the arrested individuals confessing to the crime.
