The price of gold and silver recorded a slight decline in both local and international markets on Saturday, according to data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs300 per tola, closing at Rs356,400, compared to Rs356,700 the previous day. Similarly, the rate of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs257 to Rs305,555, while the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold decreased by Rs235 to Rs280,102.

Silver prices also fell, with per tola silver declining by Rs60 to Rs3,963 and the rate for 10 grams down by Rs52 to Rs3,397.

On the international front, gold prices fell by $3 per ounce, settling at $3,337 compared to the previous day’s $3,340. Silver saw a decrease of $0.60 per ounce, now priced at $38.14.

The decline in precious metals comes amid global market fluctuations, with analysts pointing to shifting investor sentiment and currency movements as contributing factors.
