Sargodha man shoots mother dead for ‘honour’

A tragic incident unfolded in Sargodha, where a man allegedly shot and killed his mother, citing suspicions about her character, as reported by the police on Thursday.

According to the details of the case, Tahir, a resident of Baharwala, harbored suspicions regarding his mother, Hameeda Bibi (45). On the day of the incident, a heated argument ensued between them over this issue.

In a moment of intense anger, Tahir reportedly shot his mother, resulting in her tragic death. After committing the act, the accused fled from the scene.

The local police, upon receiving the report, conducted necessary procedures and subsequently handed over the deceased's body to the family following a postmortem examination.
