ISLAMABAD: As the sit-in by the major opposition alliance entered its sixth day, the leadership of TTAP has reached the Supreme Court (SC) to express solidarity with Imran Khan in the hearing of his cases.

TTAP spokesperson Akhunzada Hussain Yousafzai, while speaking to Dawn, said that although the protest is going on, the leadership has decided to reach the court on Wednesday morning as the hearing of Imran’s cases is scheduled.

“Currently, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, and others have reached the Supreme Court,” he said.

He further said that the leadership has reached the court and will hold a media briefing upon their return.

“They may announce further strategy regarding the protest and will also address the crackdown on PTI supporters,” he said.

The TTAP has also posted a video of Achakzai inside the SC and talking to Imran’s sister Aleema Khan.

In the early hours of Wednesday, the TTAP also shared a list of five “immediate and unconditional demands”.

The first was immediately granting Imran “complete and confidential access” to his personal physicians Dr Aasim Yusuf and Dr Faisal Sultan, so “they could conduct a medical examination independently”.

The alliance further asked for certified copies of Imran’s medical tests, diagnostic reports, X-rays, scans and laboratory results to be shared with his personal physicians.
