This, according to Khosa, was not on political or legal considerations but on humanitarian considerations, to which CJP responded that the medical check-up was also done on humanitarian considerations.

Speaking in the parliamentary motion led by Baroness Alexander of Cleveden, Goldsmith, said that while the case is “an internal matter for Pakistan,” the alleged denial of basic rights for Khan could not be overlooked.

The bail petitions said that Imran is suffering from a serious disease in his right eye.

She said Khan’s message to relatives stressed that he “cannot see properly”. She also repeated the family’s demand that his private doctors be permitted full access to examine and treat him.

“They seem more concerned with Imran Khan’s eye and teeth health” she said.

Speaking to media, Chaudhry confirmed Khan would be shifted from jail specifically for the procedure, noting he had already received one injection on January 25 and still required two more doses.

Judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar conducted the hearing, with Special Prosecutor Wasiq Malik representing the prosecution.

According to reports, the minister said there was “neither any deal nor any leniency,” stressing that claims of offering concessions to Imran Khan had no basis.

Speaking at an event, Tarar said a specialist medical assessment conducted on court orders has found that one of Khan’s eyes has perfect 6/6 vision, while the other has about 70% vision with corrective glasses.

He further said that the leadership has reached the court and will hold a media briefing upon their return.

The court extended the pre-arrest bail of the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi. The PTI founder could not be produced before the court via video link.

The plea requests that the court suspend his sentence and grant bail on both legal merit and humanitarian grounds.
