Two females hold Imran Riaz responsible for PGC rape propaganda, claims Cheema

Senior journalist Umar Cheema has claimed that two females in their statements before the inquiry Committee formed to probe alleged rape at a private college in Lahore have held YouTuber Imran Riaz Khan behind the propaganda.

The news of alleged rape of female at PGC in Lahore sparked protests across the province. 

Cheema made the claim in his video statement shared by PML-N digital media account on X.

Earlier, a Punjab College student, whose video went viral during protests in Lahore, apologised for spreading "false information" regarding the alleged rape of a fellow student on social media.

A video of the masked female student was widely circulated online, in which she claimed that a van driver and a security guard had raped a first-year intermediate student.

“A teacher heard the cries of a female student, and another student saw her unconscious, after which she was rushed to an ambulance in critical condition,” she had alleged in the video.

She also accused the college principal and administration of covering up the sexual assault.
