WATCH: Karachi burglars use new tactics to carry out robbery

A group of burglars in Karachi adopted a new method of robbery, as evidenced by a viral video showing an attempted break-in at a house in the Korangi Industrial Area. However, their plans were thwarted by a brave woman inside the house.

In a daring move, a teenage girl was seen accompanying a group of four robbers, who attempted to break into a house in Mehran Town on February 18. However, their plans were thwarted by a brave woman inside the house.

The incident unfolded when two robbers, riding motorcycles, arrived at the main gate of the house with a teenage girl in tow.

Shortly afterward, a third accomplice joined them.

The girl, who appeared to be carrying fruit shopping bags, was accompanied by a young boy and they knocked the door while the other robbers waited nearby.

When the door opened, the accomplices swiftly entered the house. The woman inside resisted, but the robbers brutally shoved her to the ground before fleeing in panic.

During the struggle, the woman’s shirt was torn due to the force used by the attackers.

SHO of Korangi Industrial Area, Khalid Memon confirmed the incident, stating that it occurred within the jurisdiction of the Nasir Police Post.

A case was registered based on the complaint filed by the woman’s mother. Police are actively pursuing the robbers, as well as the teenage girl captured in the CCTV footage, and are confident they will make arrests soon.
