Widow of martyred FC soldier strangled by in-laws over compensation money

Three men have been accused of strangling their sister-in-law to death after she refused to hand over the compensation amount she received following her husband's martyrdom in a terrorist encounter in Kalat.
According to police, the accused, brothers of the deceased FC soldier Naik Attaullah Shahm had been pressuring the widow to surrender the financial benefits and dues granted to her after her husband’s death
When she refused, they allegedly killed her and fled the scene.
The victim had recently completed her iddat (mourning period), which ended just a day before the murder.

A case has been registered on the complaint of the victim’s father, and a search operation has been launched to arrest the suspects who are currently on the run.
Naik Attaullah was martyred in a terrorist operation in Kalat on March 3, 2025. His widow had been staying at her in-laws' home at the time of the incident.
