Woman torches bedroom of husband’s first wife in Narowal

Punjab police have registered a case against a woman for allegedly setting fire to the bedroom of her husband's first wife in Narowal.

According to the complaint filed by her husband, the second wife not only started the fire but also assaulted his mother and fled with valuables.

The incident took place in the Sankhtra area of Narowal, where a dispute between the man's two wives escalated, leading the second wife to throw petrol and set the first wife's room ablaze, resulting in the destruction of various household items.

The man revealed that he had married his second wife just a month and a half ago, and tensions had been growing between the two women.

After the fire broke out, local residents managed to extinguish it before further damage could be done.

The police have launched an investigation into the matter after registering a case based on the husband's complaint.
