Woman tortured to death by in-laws in Muridke

A woman was allegedly tortured to death by her in-laws in Muridke city of Punjab, it emerged on Friday.

According to the victim's parents, the suspects also took away her daughter with them.

While staging a protest outside the Tehsil Head Quarter hospital, the victim's parents said the suspects also took away her daughter with them.

However, no further details were provided by the family of the victim.

The case of the gruesome murder was registered on the complaint on the victim's father, Masood, police said.

In a separate incident, a 33-year-old woman was burnt to death by her husband in Karachi.

The police said the woman was found dead at a school located in Block 4 of Gulshan-e-Iqbal area. Moreover, the police are conducting raids to arrest the suspect.

Another horrific incident unfolded in Punjab's Bahawalnagar where a woman was raped by a man, identified as Arsalan, in front of her children.

As per the details, the suspect also brutally tortured the victim after committing the heinous crime.

The case against the alleged rapist was filed on the complaint of the victim’s father.
