Asjad Iqbal stuns India's Pankaj Advani to reach Snooker World Cup Semi-Final

Pakistan’s cueist Asjad Iqbal achieved a historic milestone at the Snooker World Cup by defeating India’s top-ranked player, Pankaj Advani, to secure his place in the semi-finals.
At the IBSF Snooker World Cup being held in Muscat, Oman, Asjad Iqbal overpowered India’s Pankaj Advani in the quarter-final with a commanding 0–4 frame victory.
According to Naveed Kapadia, Secretary General of the Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association — who is also serving as Head Referee at the championship, Asjad’s winning frame scores were 0–100, 37–92, 16–117, and 21–83.
He also compiled impressive breaks of 81 and 83.
Earlier in the tournament, Asjad Iqbal advanced to the quarter-final after defeating Mina Awad 1–4.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Mohammad Asif was knocked out in the pre-quarter finals after a tough 2–4 loss to France’s Nicolas Mortreux.
Asjad Iqbal will now face France’s Nicolas Mortreux in the semi-final.
