Dog invades ground during IPL match in India

Indian Premier League (IPL) match on Sunday had an unexpected visitor when a dog invaded the match between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium in India's Ahmedabad.
A video shot from the stands showed the canine starting its graceful run around the ground, halting the match for minutes.
The happy intruder marked his appearance when Hardik Panday was set to bowl his third over in the match.
The Mumbai Indians skipper tried to stop the 4-legged guest but his efforts were of no use as the dog ran past him.
Meanwhile, the ground staff had to toil hard to get the dog away to resume play without much delay.
The video of the incident also went viral on social media, leaving netizens in stitches.
In the viral footage, the crowd can be seen chanting "Hardik Hardik" when the dog barged into the ground.
However, the reason behind the spectators' act is not clear yet.
