Four of the national kabaddi players of Pakistan have been banned for four years for refusing to appear for doping tests during the recent National Championship held in Lahore.
Kabaddi players Ubaid ullah Rajput, Malik Bin Yameen and Rana Haider and Kashif Sindhu, declined to provide samples when approached for testing at the event according to Anti-Doping Organization of Pakistan.
The Pakistan Kabaddi Federation has called for a disciplinary committee meeting in Lahore, scheduled for January 13, where all four kabaddi players are expected to appear and speak in their defence.
Those who fail to do so would see the bans automatically being effective by the federation.
