Former Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim has officially joined the Pakistan Champions squad for the second edition of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025, set to take place in England from July 18 to August 2.

The announcement was made via the team’s official social media, where Imad was welcomed with excitement.

"A power-packed addition to the squad. We proudly welcome Imad Wasim to Pakistan Champions—an all-rounder with grit, game, and presence," the post read.

Currently, Imad is featuring in England’s T20 Blast for Somerset, with his participation in the WCL set to begin after the league stage concludes on July 18.

The Pakistan Champions squad will also include former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, who famously led Pakistan to the Champions Trophy title in 2017.

Tournament to kick off from July 18 and will end on August 2, 2025

Six teams will participate: Pakistan, India, Australia, England, South Africa, and the West Indies. The format features round-robin group matches, followed by semi-finals for the top four teams.

The inaugural WCL tournament, held in 2024, saw India crowned champions under the leadership of Yuvraj Singh.
