Pakistan's Green Shirts secured their maiden Blind T20 Cricket World Cup title on Tuesday, defeating Bangladesh by 10 wickets in the final at Multan Cricket Stadium.

Batting first, Bangladesh scored 139 runs for the loss of seven wickets, with Arif Hussain emerging as the top scorer, contributing 54 runs.

In response, Pakistan's batters chased down the target in just 11 overs. Nisar Ali delivered a stellar performance, remaining unbeaten with 72 runs, while Muhammad Safdar played an impressive knock of 47 runs without losing his wicket.

Babar Ali of Pakistan took two wickets, while Muhammad Salman and Matiullah each claimed one wicket to restrict Bangladesh's batting lineup.

Both Pakistan and Bangladesh secured their spots in the final after dominating their respective semifinal matches.

Pakistani batter Kamran Akhtar smashed the fastest fifty in Blind T20 Cricket World Cup history, scoring an unbeaten 63 off just 21 balls, including one six and 12 boundaries.

On the other hand, Bangladesh triumphed over Sri Lanka in a thrilling semifinal encounter.

Bangladesh posted an imposing 244-run target, aided by a six-run penalty imposed on Sri Lanka for a slow over rate. Despite a commendable effort to chase the target, Sri Lanka fell short, scoring 238/4 in their 20 overs.
