Pakistan have announced a 15-member squad for the T20 International series against Sri Lanka.

The national team will depart for Sri Lanka in phases on 4 and 5 January 2026. Salman Ali Agha has been appointed captain for the series.

Wicketkeeper-batter Khawaja Nafay has been included in the T20 squad for the first time, while Shadab Khan has made a return following shoulder surgery.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka will play three T20 Internationals, all of which will be held in Dambulla. The matches are scheduled for 7, 9 and 11 January.

The squad includes Salman Ali Agha, Abdul Samad, Abrar Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Khawaja Muhammad Nafay, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Salman Mirza, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Naseem Shah, Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub, Shadab Khan, Usman Khan and Usman Tariq.

It is pertinent to note that Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf, who are currently in Australia for the Big Bash League, will not feature in the series against Sri Lanka. Shaheen Afridi is also suffering from a knee injury.
